I have it under a tree so I can see the temperature without going out side. Right now it is 112 degrees in the shade. Much too hot for me to go outside. Great Thermopmeter for inside or outside

No batteries needed! The numbers are large and readable from a distance. Temperature reads as the weather service temp.

It is hard to find an outdoor thermometer that can handle extreme heat. Even this one does not stay accurate after reaching temperatures over 100 degrees. We have done the fridge reset, but it does not stay consistent. If your temperatures are under 100 degrees, this will work fine. The large numbers are easy to read from a distance, which is a plus.

Terrible. Stay away. Not accurate. Have to shake a bit for needle to move, put in fridge like they suggested. Also changed temperature manually. I won’t return, not worth it. Looking for another company.

The first one I got, you could hold the thermometer so the temp pointer wasstraight up and rotate it left and right and watch the pointer freely flop4+ temp degrees towards whichever direction was downward.You can adjust the pointers to what the reading should be by using a smallscrewdriver through their holes in the back of the device.50 degrees is straight up.So, even if the temperature coil were accurate, the best you could doby setting it to about average would be 2 degrees low below 50 degreesand 2 degrees high above 50.I have a good SensorPush digital temp and humidity sensor to gettemps and humidity to compare to this device.The hygrometer will be quite higher at some times and lower at others.The temperature seems to track fairly well over the 40 to 75 range.(That is all I have tested so far.)I got a replacement unit and the pointer flops freely maybe half as much.It should not be that hard to make reasonably accurate thermometers these days.Just assume the best you will get are readings in the general range of actual.

The unit is a little smaller than I would have liked due to the distance from the window, but that is my fault. Overall it works fine

The thermometer is never accurate. No matter where I put it in the yard, whether it is in the shade or the sun, against a building or hanging from a tree it is always way off so it's garbage. I like the look of it but if it doesn't work, in the trash it goes
