So far, so good! It's a simple product, and feels very "plastic". But the price is absolutely right, and it works. I'm happy with the purchase (and that's coming from me, who often returns things due to buyer's remorse and very specific needs.)

This is so simple and works great. I just ordered two more to be sure we can view our special 3d slides well into future generations. I have the original slide viewer with batteries and an extinct light bulb that I know it won't last, but these little devices will!

We have three of the old viewers. Repairs or even a replacement bulb are very expensive

The slide viewer works well for the price. Previous 60's model battery operated viewer is no longer functional, so this was a good short-term alternative for viewing and sorting slides for scanning.

Cheap cardboard red and blue 3d glasses ! NOT the stereo slide viewer pictured!! TOTAL SCAM !! I would rate ZERO STARS.

I inherited Kodachrome stereo slides 15 years ago but had a hard time viewing them holding them upto a light, plus I would not get the "stereo" experience this way. For the price, this is perfect for viewing these older slides! It looks similar to a child's view master, but this device made the slides come alive. The instructions read that you need natural light for viewing, but I was able to hold the viewer up to a light in the evening and had no trouble viewing the slides. I also realized how dusty my slides were.I'm not sure if this would work with any format of slides as I bought it specifically to view the stereo (double image) slides, but I would definitely recommend this to anyone wishing to view their stereo slides.
