I needed to replace my mantel clock that I had for forty years. I had to repair it once and it cost me $200.00!! No, thank you!!This clock is perfect. It's simple, and classic. Not expensive. Battery operated so when the electricity goes out it still will keep the time.I'm so happy with this purchase!

It's a nice clock but the brown simply looks like plastic. Not even a fake would grain, just brown plastic. I should have gotten the black.

This worked for a couple months then quit keeping accurate time. It is plastic and I’m actually just going to throw it away. What a WASTE of money.

What a great purchase for the price. Read the description and you'll know it's not wood but plastic. Unless you're up close you won't know the difference. The dark cherry finish goes well with our end tables, dining table and it fits great on the mantle. You can easily read it from across the room.

Easy to set. Easy to read. Looks really nice. Runs off of 1 AA battery. Needed a clock when we got rid of the cable box. Now I have no excuse for staying up too late reading or watching TV. I recommend this clock.
