The Good: This is an all around fantastic kit for an easy to transport inflatable paddle board. The bag is constructed well, along with the paddle. The pump is pretty good too, inflates it fairly quick though it is still tiring by the end to get it to the right PSI. Any Avid users (more then once a week) would do well to get a battery operated portable pump. The Meh: The only really small issue is the traction pad after about 5 uses was peeling up in 2 spots, some contact cement fixed it easy and the problem hasn't come backThe Bad: honestly nothing. for the price its well worth it.

Good value. It needs to be fully inflated to be firm to be able to stand. The air leaked quickly when removing pump hose so had to be plugged quickly to maintain pressure. Good paddle, maneuvered well.

Floats. Does not like to stay inflated. Likes to bow while standing on it. Non slip pads peeling after 2 uses.

This stand-up paddle board setup is a great way to get into the past time without a lot of costs and extra things to buy. It is in the lower to medium-low price range but has all the necessary features that one should look for. The kit comes with a pretty nice inflatable paddleboard, the paddle which breaks down into three sections, a separate bottom fin (only one), the safety cord, a patch kit, a pump, and a carrying bag. All are adequate and not super high-end, but at this price range, it is actually a pretty nice kit. The bag is a bit thin and is a duffle style rather than a backpack style. It will work, but I see that as one of the first things that will probably wear out... but that is easily replaced, and at only 23 pounds deflated this board can fold up pretty small, so it should fit just about any large backpack or duffle bag. The board itself is pretty thick and durable, has a wide and stand-up area that is nicely textured and non-slip. The board has only one bottom fin which makes it less stable than boards that have three, but again, at this price, it is expected. The front storage has a shock cord with 4 rings. It is not huge, but then probably adequate for the things you would take on short outings with this type of board. I am a firm believer in not carrying a bunch of stuff with you on your board anyway.... personal opinion. I only pumped this board up about halfway just to try out the pump. It pumps well enough blowing air on the way down. I am not sure how long it would take to fully inflate, but if you are going into the SUP arena for exercise and fun, I would invest in a portable inflator anyway. It deflated pretty easily as well. I did not take it onto the water because it is Winter here still and I would rather get a review in of the kit before people start buying their Spring and Summer gear. I will update this review with an on-the-water opinion if it does not perform as expected. Overall, a great starter kit and one that should last you quite a while before you needed to dump a load of cash into a higher-end model.
