At 59, I made the choice to do everything possible to stay healthy and pain free. Yep had the normal joint stiffness and just tiredness. After doing my own research, I purchased this blanket.Long story short, my stiffness is gone. I religiously have built up to using this everyday. My joint stiffness is gone! My skin has never looked better, minus a couple wrinkles.No reservations but to recommend ordering.

You will get warm and sweaty. The timer is good in case you fall asleep. You don't want to be roasted. Kinda bulky, and it feels like a weighted blanket. You definitely want to buy those thermal emergency blankets. There are only 5 in the box. They work as liners so you don't sweat all over the fabric. Spray it down with disinfectant when finished.I also own a different sauna system and I sweat much more with it. But this is easier to travel with.

It’ll start to heat up and then stop and start beeping, saying error. Tried to use it about 6 times today and each time it did the same thing.

the two stars off are for a disconnect between the blanket and the front page -- three stars for the quality of the blanket -- the remote does heat up so head the warnings to be careful where you place it -- not hot just very warm so far -- the gauge of the cables seems small considering the wattage draw -- the cables to the blanket are permanently connected into the inside of the blanket with no way to disconnect so they have to be wrapped up with the blanket when stored -- the included paperwork does say to connect the cables -- I am 5'10" - 245# - 42" waist -- I just fit so the pull on the zippers make them hard to open and close -- the zippers do not have a tab on the inside and the outside -- the tab fits into a loop so you can rotate it either way -- so far every time I reached for the tab it slid to the inside which does me no good since there is no room in the blanket for my arms to operate them -- my arms do not match up to the arm openings (not wide enough) so I can't move my arms on the inside or outside -- the material is very stiff around the arm slots -- the included foil blanket wraps seem well made but it is near impossible for me to cover anything but my belly -- if I completely put the zipper down to put the foil on then I can't get the zipper up without either catching it in the zipper or shifting off of my body -- If I were aware of the size issue before ordering I would have tried to get a wider model -- there are no heat elements around the neck and shoulders -- it took an hour at the highest heat I could tolerate (135) to start a sweat even with sweatpants, socks and a sweatshirt on -- the 2nd hour I got drenched -- since you are not supposed to be in a Sauna blanket that long I'm not sure what to do -- (the page does mention sweating out toxins) -- I do not understand the Far Infrared part of this -- there is no detectable light to see -- the blanket itself gets very hot leading me to believe that it's just filled with regular heating elements -- If you need something to completely heat your entire body (not your shoulders) and not necessarily wanting the sweat and you can easily fit inside I believe this would be a good purchase
