Was super excited to get this and try it out, went to put the provided batteries in only to realize I was given a set of AA batteries when the thermometer takes AAA.

I really liked it because it also came with the probe and the gun. They both measured the exact same tempature. I actually got distracted after turning on the stove to hat up some oil. When I smelled it I of course freaked out and removed it from the burner. Out of curiosity I wondered at what tempature it would have burst into flames? So glad I still don't know but I can tell you the heat gun showed that oil was over 700 degrees! Somebody was definitely looking over me that night.. Great product. Great price and I would definitely buy it again. All my kids keep trying to talk me out of it so I guess I will be buying 4 more for Christmas.

The thermometer is easy to read and use; it's intuitive. The multipoint laser allows me to accurately read the bed of the oven in different places. It will easily convert between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Looks really cool, bought to replace one we check out coolers and freezers with as the trigger was wearing out.Usless for this will not measure below freezing.And never gives same reading, way off each time, not repeatable.Orher reveiw was correct, don,t buy.Just looks cool.

C'est vrai la mesure est imprécise mais on voit les variations de température. Et on peut détecter des problèmes d'humidité.La sonde extérieure ne marche pas du tout.
