Been delaying this purchase for a really long time due to the price. I’ve been using lockable straps, but those were the most secure as overtime they came loose and no longer bit the strap.I regularly carry 2-3 boards and this thing makes it super easy to pull off any board from the rack. Being able to separate the straps and managing the excess with the ratchet system makes things really fast. Also no more worries about your straps not biting down hard enough and slowly backing loose while driving. So far so good with car washing also. Ratchet them flat and your good to go.

I typically do not give the best rating unless a product surprises me. That said, this product does what it says, and is uniquely efficient at it with smart and sleek design. And it’s versatility in securing different equipment of various sizes is perfect (kayak, SUP, and short boards are all in-play). And here comes the inevitable ‘but’… The hardware provided does not work with every slotted or t-track crossbar. Specifically, I had to use my own allen bolt and jam nut to fit this on the RhinoRack Heavy Duty bar, which has a wide t-track. The provided hardware does fit my other RhinoRack Vortex bar however. Also, spacing the of the mounts can be challenging for use with short boards unless the distance between the two crossbars is closer together, say 1/2 the length of your short board. Otherwise you might set the rear unit appropriately for the width of board just before the fins, but the forward unit would need to be set for the top, nose end of the board and you can’t set the mounts close enough together. As long as you use a crossbar pad you should be ok.so, yes, it does have some limitations but all-in-all it is a really great product and I definitely recommend it!

I have used this carrier for almost 2 decades and I believe it is the best out there. Easy and sturdy equipment that allows you to quickly secure your prized boards and not worry about the straps loosening up.

The tube pad was missing, but the attachments are not for a standard cross bar. It won't fit any of our 4 SUV's!

Generally does a good job and is convenient. However I needed to buy different length bolts to install for my BMW.I am wary of relying on this for trips on the highway. The spooling mechanism of the wire has a potential to loosen. I went on the highway thinking it was secure and the board started bouncing around. Your board is secured by a mechanism relying on a thin wire wrapped around a piece of rubber. Any failure and your board goes flying. I add a strap on the highway. This company has an odd way of marketing their products. The 446 model is described completely differently even though the only real difference is the way it is secured to the car and the addition of some pads. The 446 universal mount is big and clunky and when attached to the roof bar doesn't consider the aerodynamic slope of the bar found on newer cars. So the whole thing sits crooked. The 446 and 445 are otherwise identical, although reading the descriptions you'd think the 445 is for larger items like paddle boards and the 446 is for surfboards. They're the same except for the mount. BIZARRE!

Setup on a 2015 Ford Explorer, easy install! I like how simple this is for securing a 10ft. kayak. Make sure you center your credit in the roof rack, the cabling needs to be evened out to not get caught on any corners.

Perfect for 2 paddle boards. Just don’t forget to buy the pads because this does not come with them

Racks were exactly what I expected and the install was straight forward. Most importantly my Daughter can now easily throw a Kayak on top of her car, ratchet it down from one side and lock it securely in place. Keys came with the racks unlike some of Inno's competitors. Very happy with the purchase!

Si vous avez un compact ou une berline comme voiture il se pourrait que vos barres de toits ne soient pas assé large pour installer cet adaptateur si vous avez un kayak de pêche.P.S. je l'ai retourné sans problème chez Amazon.
