The InSinkErator F-1000 Replacement Water Filter Cartridge (1-Pack) keeps your water tasting clean by reducing particulates, chlorine taste and odor. This under sink water filter is for use with the F-1000S and F-2000S Water Filtration System, designed specifically for InSinkErator Instant Hot Water Dispensers.
This replacement water filter features a sanitary quick-change design to minimize contact with used filter material. The twist-and-lock design allows for quick-and-easy filter swaps. It automatically shuts the water off when the filter cartridge is replaced. The water filter is NSF standard 42 certified for quality assurance.
Upgrade to the F-2000 Replacement Water Filter to reduce chlorine taste and odor, lead, mercury, asbestos, cysts and other contaminants down to 1/2 micron for cleaner, healthier water.
The InSinkErator F-1000 replacement water filter is not compatible with the InSinkErator SST-FLTR Stainless Steel Tank and Filtration System. For optimal performance, InSinkErator recommends replacing your water filter cartridge every 6 months.

Wow, super easy to change out. I had this filter on my insinkerator faucet and had not changed it in years. I had a plumber coming out for something else so I ordered a new filter. He showed me how to change it in one minute. I just did that so I'm assuming the filtering part of the product will work just fine. The last one did.

I have a hot water faucet for my tea and I have used and reordered this filter for the past year or so. It doesn’t leak and has performed well. It fits perfectly and is easy to install. I am very happy with this filter for the price.

This is the only filter we will buy for our hot/cold filtered tap. We have noticed that the filter makes the normally chemical tasting, city water taste almost like bottled water. We use this water for drinking, cooking and filling our coffee pot. We have noticed the coffee pot has less build up because of the quality of the filtration the water has. This filter is expensive but lasts for the whole 6 months and is worth it! We prefer using the tap with this filter over our fridge water system because it flows faster.

How to Replace the InSinkErator F-1000 Instant Hot Water Dispenser Filter.The instructions that come with the filter are wrong.Step one, slowly turn the cartridge CLOCKWISE until it stops, to remove it.Step two, insert the new cartridge and turn it COUNTER-CLOCKWISE until it stops.Once installed it works great.

My old one was so clogged up that after replacing it with this one the flow was so improved that I thought it wasn't placed properly. After flushing a few gallons through to get clear water the taste was really good just like the previous. There's no degradation in water quality over time but as expected if you have hard water or lots of sediment it will do its job and stop it all.
