Works exactly like it should. The arm is articulable and can be either locked in place, tightened just loosely enough to allow some fine adjustments against a part during indicating routines. Works just as well as my coworkers indicator holders from more well respected brands.

No fiddly knobs, just locked-in, precise parts with socket cap screws that won't let go until well after your dial indicator is a pile of mangled parts. Whether tramming a machine or dialing in parts, this beats the pants off no name chinesium.

The product does work but it’s limited I would say you’re best to buy something else it works but it’s not great and the last part of the mount doesn’t swivel like a normal mount so you’re limited in your range.

Save your money and buy this. Very good quality for the money. This model is not for an .125 inch Stem.. It is for a .156 inch diameter..

This works, but it doesn’t fit a standard dovetail peg or dial gauge. I had to modify it to make it fit.
