As soon as I laid out this cool mat; my Cooper instinctively knew what it’s for. It must really work because he’s been choosing to lay on his cool mat, rather than on bare tiles to cool down on these very hot summer days.

While trying to research the best cooling mats, I wasn't 100% positive that it would work, but some how it does. I got a new foster dog in from NC to FL so he's trying his best to adjust to our hot spring/summer. I found one for $30 and figured well maybe more money is better but had a friend say they bought this one and it's great. So here we are. He peed on it the 1st day, and now really likes it. Its machine washable on a gentle setting and then I let it air dry. It is thin but does the job and so far seems durable. Comes with the bag shown so it's easy to transport if I ever need to. Definitely worth the buy for the price as well!

Bought this for my Golden in the summer. She loves to sleep on it at night. Was hoping it would be good for being on our boat as well, but she's not into it there at all!It stays cool, but does warm up after she sleeps on it.

This item is AMAZING!!! I have a Great Pyrenees/ German Shepard mix that is ALWAYS hot and she will drag this around the house to lay on haha. Also handles the washer/dryer well!

UPDATE: The cat has decided he'll snooze on it for short stints (I've been concerned that his usual spots have been too warm even for a cat), so I'll give it back a star. But I'm still irritated that the dimensions aren't as advertised.Very disappointed that this won’t fit as expected where I planned to put it. I was already getting a size that wasn’t quite large enough, now it’s just “nope, too small.†I’m debating whether to return it, but the company might win this one on the grounds of “can’t be bothered.†It does feel cool to the touch, doesn’t smell chemical-y. It slips around under little paws if it’s on bare floor so I laid it on the carpet, since it’s the wrong size anyway it doesn’t matter where I put it. I’m still trying to convince my pet to lie down on it, but he seems indifferent. This is kind of a fail, mostly for the manufacturer not being able to use a measuring tape.

This blanket is so cool and I love that it came in the cutest pouch. It’s soft too and both my dogs love it. Although I wouldn’t keep it in the car 24/7 because it’s too hot where I live I do take it in and out of the car with me so it stays cool for our pups car rides. I do put the blanket back in the pouch after each use and refrigerate it for 20 min so it’s extra cool before we venture out I like that there isn’t any toxic gel or other harmful chemicals and no bad smell. It is a lightweight blanket but it is a nice layer on top of our car mat or dog beds and it’s also a good option for outdoor areas on hot stone patios or wood decks to cool down my dogs and preserve their elbows and paw pads The pouch is great to store the blanket and keeps it clean and ready to take to any outings or travels.

My boy was recently diagnosed with Cushing's, but while we were going through all the testing for that diagnosis, he was panting a LOT and got easily overheated. My mom suggested I order him something like this and I was skeptical it would work or that he'd even lay on it..I ordered a Large size (he's a 20lb Boston terrier) because I figured if it warms up the way my human "cooling mattress" does, he could at least roll over to where it's still cool.It surprised me that he does lay on it quite a bit and every time I touch it, it does feel cool to the touch, even after he's been laying on it. No water, no freezer, no nothing. I'll give him an ice cube on it sometimes and he just goes to town on it. It is kind of flimzy and moves easily, but I think the larger size helps with that because his whole body fits easily on it and theres more room around him so he ends up holding it down himself rather than shoving any edges under him.Now that he's started medication for Cushing's and the weather has been cooler, he doesn't lay on it as often, but it's still nice to have. Sometimes if I get hot (and he's not laying on it), I wrap it around my bare arms and it cools me right down!

It's basically a cool blanket. no tech to transfer the heat and my Australian Shepherd eventually gets off and goes and lies on the tiles and/or wooden floor.Waste of money. Don't recommend.

So the gel mats dont work with my Shiba. But this fabric does. U already had one. This is another one i just bought but the fabric is cool to touch. so far so good! Being a double coated dog! he really gets hot!! I just have to get him to sit on it whe outside in the shade. happy with the blanket the bag is still good. the writing was stuck together and once u pull apart to open the bag you can see the font is fading away. so does not look new or clear.anyhow blanket is what matters! but just a tad disappointed thats all
