After some plumbing, adjusting with another adapter, it finally worked. Prior to that after installation started to leak according to my plumber the pump was not really a perfect fit and we had to go and getAnother adapter to make the pump work as it supposed to and since then there has been no leak.It works fantastic. The water circulates nice and hot after the timer is set for a specific times.I am very satisfied and I recommend it, but you may have some issues at sided.

I had a problem with a water pipes (both hot and cold) freezing up affecting two sink basins in our owners suite bathroom. This device is designed to keeps water moving within the water pipes. The device comes with a crossover sensor valve that gets placed under the furthest sink basin from the hot water heater. The recirculating pump delivers a constant flow of hot water (this can be set to any time interval desired) from the hot water heater through the hot water pipe and the crossover sensor valve delivers a constant flow of water through the cold water pipe back to the recirculating pump (or maybe the hot water heater itself, not sure which one). I had a plumber professionally install these devices two days ago and the outdoor temps the past two nights reached that known problem temperature (single digits for my issue) and we no longer experience the frozen pipe issue. A friend of mine installed the same device (without using a professional plumber) however he has a house with the hot water heater in his basement. I do notice a constant humming sound but it's not overbearing at all. This allowed us a solution without having to rip out a garden tube and drywall to reinsulate. Hope this helps.

After I wrote the following review and sent an email to the seller I quickly received an email response indicating that the instructions had been updated to address the incompatibility of the supplied parts with common compression fitting installations. At that time i also was having an issue with a leak from the stainless steel sensor fitting. They promptly sent me a new one. Customer service has been very helpful and I'm now happy with the purchase.Original Review:The instructions fail to point out that more modern faucet supply hoses use compression fittings rather than the conventional fittings supplied in the kit. This resulted in great confusion when the fittings in the kit (in particular the reducer adapters) were incompatible with our existing plumbing. After several trips to plumbing supply stores and lots of research, I found the necessary adapters and was able to complete the installation. Now the system is doing the job we hoped for. An updated set of instructions addressing the possible (actually likely) compression fitting incompatibility would have avoided many hours of frustration and trips to suppliers.

We had a recirculator that broke from old age. It really is amazing how much better life is with hot water on demand at the faucet in the kitchen! Well worth the cost. And just for reference, our first one lasted over 10 years. Hopefully this one will last a long time too.

Instant hot water, no more wasting water waiting for it to warm up for showers or dishwashing! Had a slight issue with installation, (my own fault) but after contacting company, I received an immediate response on what problem could be and resolved it easily! Very impressed with pump and their customer service (Chris)…

The plastic timer control module fell off the pump body. The heat from the water caused the plastic to melt at the two screws that held the module to the pump. Very inferior product. The water heater did not overheat.
