This is a nice wooden toy to encourage a young baby to grasp and transfer from hand to hand. It complements some of the other Montessori wooden toys I have already including the egg cup and pincer toy. This toy has solid build quality and no sharp edges.

I searched high and low for a toddler teether for our granddaughter. Her parents were concerned about microplastics in plastic teether and paint on other teether. This interlocking disc teether checks all those boxes for us - no plastic and no paint - and also gives her a good gripping surface on one disc while chewing on the other. Parent approved!

Perhaps the one I received was defective. It did not have glue which is great but it was not tightly connected. Came apart as soon as my baby held it. I wish it worked out.

I wanted to have something on hand at my photo studio for little hands, without being too distracting. This is perfect! It has a smooth surface, making it safe for baby.

This product is well made and I appreciate the smooth finish on the wood. My only gripe is my own fault for not fully reading the description - I did not realize that the discs could not be separated though the product description clearly states they are glued together. We had a similar toy previously where the discs did separate, but unfortunately it broke and I thought this would be a good replacement. I do feel it will still be played with and enjoyed despite them not separating, however.

I've seen these on Montessori wishlists and decided to get one for my 3 month old. It's perfect for him, as he is just now starting to work on us grip. He immediately grabbed onto the pieces and was able to hold the wooden toys because it was slender enough. He also put it in his mouth (so make sure you wipe it off first). Great quality wood and I can tell it's going to last. It's great that the next stage of development is letting the toy roll away and for him to try to catch it. I can see that being entertaining for him, once he becomes more interested in toys.One note: My hubby pulled hard and the two pieces became unlocked, so know that's possible with some effort. The packaging says there's no glue, so that explains it. The pieces can lock again without any issues. Lovely toy.

My baby loves playing with these and using them as a teether. The wood is smooth and the discs seem sturdy.

Well made little wooden discs. Super simple tool great for teaching my little one to grasp and does a fun little wobble as it rolls away. My little one isn’t crawling yet but am sure it will be a hit when she is and can crawl after it. For now big brother likes to grab it and bring it back after she pushes it around during tummy time.
