I didn't know the motor could be replaced. Its really easy. Just remember to mark the wires before detaching so you know where to put them back. I used a sharpie with 1 line for the first slot, 2 lines for the second, and so on. The whole replacement takes about 20 minutes if you've not done it before. It's much better than spending on a new unit.

Very disappointed that this only lasted 3 months. The dial no longer turns. The original Intermatic motor lasted just under 4 years. Time to try another company's product.

I never thought in a thousand years I would be able to just order the motor for pool timer. I was just looking up different items when I thought about the pool timer motor was broken. I was supprised when I found the exact same thing I wanted. As a matter of fact, I went down and tore the timer appart to verify the motor was the same. It was the same, so I ordered it. I was even more supprised when I received it in two days. So, I rate this as a 5 star because I am more than satisified with not only having what I needed but also receiving it in record time. I personally thought I would have to buy a whole new timer. It was so easy.Roger
