Fantastic item! Fantastic item! I Recommend it for all current and new teachers, student teachers too, I am currently working to finish my teaching program, at the University of Southern California. The current school where I am finishing my student teaching service, does not have smartboards or any form of interactive technology, this is something that most higher level schools have implemented in their school sites. Being that I value education and new technology usage, and integrating it into our schools, I decided to search for some interactive technology that would turn any whiteboard into an interactive smart board like system. In searching for this technology I found out about the IPEVO interactive smartboard. At first, I was thinking that that low price meant that I was going to get a low quality item… BUT ! WOW! This item should be worth more than its $149 asking price, the interactive system works really well. The students at my student teaching site were impress and were really surprise to see it working, some even stated that it was “magic†that was making me write on the whiteboard without using markers. ☺ I already had a few faculty members asking me where I bought it and what’s the name of my interactive equipment? This IPEVO has created something that should help lots of schools serving low income communities.PROS: works like a smartboard, costs less, easy to use, easily engages students, $149 vs $3000 smartboard is no brainer!, small, portable, easy to install, no need to install or destroy any walls to installCONS: requires time to get use to the pen if left handed ( I am), practice is needed to get use to the annotator program, Shadows do interfere with the RF signal, calibration can be tricky ( finding the “sweet†spot is required)In all! I highly recommend this product to any teacher, senior teacher, and student teacher. Student teachers should buy it as soon as they take a look at their student teaching site and if their site does not have a smartboard.

I bought this portable whiteboard system to use as an aid in meetings for brainstorming and editing documents for a very wide and diverse group of participants. By using the computer, a projection system, and a conference bridge not only could people in the conference room see the notes and annotations from the meeting, but so too could people who were connected remotely 100's of miles away. This seemed like the ideal solution for me. Unfortunately, a suspected incompatibility with other software on my laptop prevented me from completing the initial setup process.So, you may ask, if it didn't work for me, why on earth did I give this a 5 star rating? Because IPEVO's customer and technical support is absolutely outstanding! When I first ran into problems with the setup, I opened a trouble ticket on the IPEVO website. Shortly after, "Matt" wrote back with some suggestions and detailed instructions to overcome the problem. When that didn't fix matters, he contacted his engineering folks who ran various simulations and diagnostics in their lab trying to reproduce the problem. I received great advice and ideas for how to move forward, but in the end nothing worked. When it became clear that something on my computer was conflicting with their software, I just couldn't take the time to incrementally uninstall applications and drivers until the "bad actor" was found, so returned the system for a prompt refund.I just can't say enough about the excellent support I received from IPEVO (better in fact than some much more expensive gear I've purchased from other companies), and still think their portable whiteboard system is an amazing value for $149. My plan is to upgrade to Windows 10 in January, then buy the system again to see if I can make it work with all of the updated drivers. In the meantime, I'm certain this is a quality product with quality people backing it up. Based on my experience, don't hesitate to try it for your application.

Impossible to calibrate when your classroom projector isn't mounted to the ceiling! Doesn't work with PowerPoint presentations. Unfortunately, I purchased this at the end of the school year and once fall came around and I could try the pen with students it just doesn't work. My students were so excited to help me get this pen working. I missed the return date, only a month. I really tried to get this to work but it just wouldn't calibrate. We never got a chance to use it. What a waste of educational money. I really like to return it and get something that will work. I was hoping since this is an Amazon product there would be a better return policy. Educational funds don't come along very often.

Great product, the issue of light hampering the device from working to its best capacity is the only reason I am giving a 4 star for accuracy.Works great in a darkened room but has some accuracy issues if there is no much light. Makes it a bit challenging at times for persons in the Caribbean teaching during the day.Other than that, it’s the best teaching aid I have bought in a while

Love it but I have to recalibrate it frequently. Customer service is only email and slow, great concept but no service. I know this is a low cost solution, and the software is awesome by itself

AMAZING INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD!!! This sensor is so perfect for my classroom!! It is great for writing the examples on the board and the kids love it so much!! It makes my lessons so much more interesting and fun for the kids! I will be using this so much in the future!! The pen works great!! I use mine on a wall and it works perfectly!! I am so happy with this product!! It is super easy and quick to set up and calibrate!! Thank you so much!!

El dispositivo funciona bien, siempre y cuando se cuente con un buen proyector (resolución nativa 1080p, como mÃnimo) y un espacio mediano.Es una buena opción de "bajo" presupuesto para hacer más interactivas las clases. Aunque calibrarlo es un poco tedioso, con algo de práctica se vuelve más rápido.En mi caso, solÃa haber menos precisión de la pluma cerca de los bordes y eso dificulta hacer clic en Ãconos pequeños.

Perfetto per l'utilizzo. ottimo durante formazioni on-line, perfetta reattività , non perde un colpo nelle sue funzioni (basta che sia calibrato correttamente prima di ogni lezione.basta lavagne con gesso, di metallo o di carta, niente più pennarelli.perfetta compatibilità tra i vari dispositivi.fare attenzione se si usa una tv per trasformarla in LIM, meglio applicare una pellicola protettiva allo schermo.comodissimi gli attacchi supporto a corredo. usato in modo assiduo, preciso ed affidabile. consigliatissimo.

Hier Pro und Kontra:-->Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht beurteilen, hab es noch nicht lange genug.Pro:+ viel günstiger als ein interaktives Whiteboard+ einmal kalibriert, funktioniert es gut+ es funktioniert auch auf einer weißen Wand+ man benötigt "nur" noch (zusätzlich) einen Projektor/Beamer, der das Bild (von Laptop/Tablet etc) auf eine Wand projiziert+ es wiegt als Equipment sehr wenig und man kann es durch flexibel einsetzen+ Drag and drop/antippen/klicken funktioniert gut- zeichnen/schreiben würde ich mit dem Stift nur wenig, da er recht groß und grob ist, ABER Mal etwas beschriften geht schon oder grobe Zeichnungen sind auch Mal drin- man muss es bei jedem Mal neu kalibrieren, falls der Beamer nicht immer genau an der gleichen Stelle steht/hängt==> wenn der Beamer auf einem Wagen steht und dieser aus Versehen bewegt wird (oder die kleine Kamera wird aus Versehen bewegt etc), dann muss man neu kalibrieren...das ist umständlich/aufwendig- das Kalibrieren ist gewissermaßen aufwendig, wenn man es alleine machen muss: Kamera drehen -->Stift probieren/ wieder: Kamera drehen -->Stift probieren = hin und her laufen zwischen Beamer und Wand usw. ABER: wenn man weiß, wie es funktioniert, geht es recht schnell!- man darf nicht mittig vor der Kamera stehen, sonst funktioniert es logischerweise nicht...Mein Fazit: trotz einiger "Schwächen" kann ich meinen Unterricht endlich etwas lebendiger/moderner gestalten und meine Schüler*innen noch besser mit einbeziehen. Ich kann tolle interaktive Webseiten nutzen und die Kinder daran teilhaben lassen. Da die Stadt nicht in unsere Schule investieren möchte (sozialer Brennpunkt), habe ich privat investiert und musste nicht viele tausend Euro für eine Tafel ausgeben - dieses Gadget ist ideal für mich geeignet, klare Empfehlung.

My 13 year old son has wanted this item for over a year, as parents we were not convinced it was worth the money. According to my son it was absolutely worth the wait and his best purchase ever with Birthday money!It is keeping him occupied and he is enjoying doing his school work in lockdown and isolation. Now that is worth every pennyðŸ‘
