About this item

  • Never go beyond its capabilities. Try to stay 10 to 15% below what the rate is for
  • Please make sure you made tight connections (especially on the load wires)
  • 12-volt 5-prong relay. Excellent water-repellent and dustproof ability, but not using it in water
  • Be careful when inserting the relay into the socket. If you force it, you will bend the female connectors
  • Primary leads use 12 a.w.g tinned copper wire. Coil leads use 16 a.w.g

Excellent high amp relay. My 2012 Grand Cherokee starts better with it. The quality and value is good. Better that the factory recommended waterproof relay.

Looking for a decent relay , here you go , I purchased 5 ( relay and pigtail) and can say definitely one of the better ones for the money, low Voltage coil is great when adding onto a daylight driving low voltage circuit, adding fog lights or a led bar these work great , the only concern I have is the 15.7v max coil voltage as some cars and trucks with AGM charging systems go up to 16.4 for a short period, but overall will buy more as my current relays fail , add a little dielectric grease inside the connection will keep moisture out, especially in a marine environment

Used for a reverse/backup lights on Polaris Ranger UTV. The other type you can buy as a pre-wired solution are not water tight relay's. This relay is water tight. Heavy Duty and clearly marked for the pin out. Great instructions found right here on their page as well as they came with instructions for either ground or positive trigger. Splice this unit in with a couple of water tight crimps and know that you have noting to worry about. I could have went with the 30amp version but for a few bucks more I can use these for other items and not worry about over drawing the current.
