had some new legs that fed back so when my running lights were on, my blinker lights (also led) were on also... odd I know. the would blink off when working.... and they didn't like the low resistance of leds, so they worked much more normal while I was hooked to a trailer. anyway, ordered these with the ground wire and now everything works as it should!

I ordered these so that I could switch to LED bulbs on my '90s era John Deere tractors. They are not plug and play in my application. Polarity is opposite of what I needed, so I had to pop the terminals out of the harness and switch them around to match the blinker module. Once that was done they worked as they should. I'm not sure how well they will hold up. They are made of cheap plastic.

As you can see in the picture, it exploded when applying power via a switch. In the picture on the left side is another flasher with a lower amperage rating that was used in the same scenario with no issues. I have a dozen different flashers from different sources that I’ve used and never had a single issue until this particular flasher that exploded almost causing a fire. I do not recommend, but if you do purchase this flasher, I would test it before placing it in service. I possibly received a defective one, but I won’t be ordering any more of this particular flasher.

These do work on older GM vehicles. The non-grounded version of these flashers will not work. I have converted a 1970 Chevelle and a 1972 C-10 to completely LED bulbs and both needed this grounded style of flasher to function correctly. Note: the workmanship on these units isn't great. Grounding wire isn't installed very well. It appears that the hole for the bare wire strands is not large enough so many of the wire strands are not soldered to the connection but are wadded-up on the back side of the hole. Those stands are doing nothing. There is nothing helping secure the ground wire. If the wire is pulled it will likely fail since it is not properly soldered to the circuit board.

These relays work well with LED lights for turn signals and hazards. Be aware they are silent and make no noise when signals are on. We'll see how long they last but they work as expected.
