This litter box is basically a large plastic tub but it's perfect for the litter box enclosure I have. The plastic is very slick so it's easy to clean! Seems very sturdy also.

This kitty box is great! I have a Maine coon and she's has plenty of room. Also, the surface of the box is slick, so clumps don't adhere to the box, so easy to keep clean and smells don't seem to penetrate the type of plastic. The high sides are nice to keep everything inside too, so no litter outside box.

I was surprised at how large this litter box is, but it works well for two large indoor cats (one is a Maine Coon). I like the high sides that keep the litter inside the pan. It is easy to scoop out. My other litter box is a large bin (those storage bins that come with lids) that we cut out an opening in one end for cat access. This one is much nicer, of course! I am very happy with this litter box.

Department of WOW! This is an absolutely SUPERB litter box. I have three cats (mother, father and son). I tried putting one large litterbox which didn't work: it would fill up very fast (they're seniors now) and be hard to clean. The I tried a large and regular littler box. Once again difficult to clean since the rubbery like material seemed born to have used liter stick to the bottom. And the amount of litter all around the surrounding area was awfu. This is PERFECT. 1)All three cats began using it. 2) There is ZERO litter scattered on the floor due to the walls, 3)This is made of more of a plastic substance and it is VERy easy TO CLEAN. I'm finding my litter goes a longer way now, the floor looks great and the cats are happy,. A PLUS on this.

IRIS USA Extra Large Cat Litter Box, Open Top Litter Box for Big Cats and Multi-Cat Households, High Sided Scatter Shield, Easy to Clean, BlackWe recently switched to a new type of lightweight kitty litter that works quite well for our two cats. The grain based litter was great at forming balls when our female cat urinated, but with the male cat it made more of a pancake. Unfortunately, those pancakes were impossible to scoop out of our metal litter boxes.This XL plastic litter box solved our problem. All the soiled litter slides right out and there are no unpleasant smells left behind. The large size of the box easily accommodates our small female cat and our 18 pound male cat. We are not even using the scatter shield, but the sides of the box are high enough that nothing gets kicked out. I also appreciate that the box is made in the USA and I don’t need to worry about it containing any toxic substances. I definitely recommend this product. We have been using it for more than two months with no problems.

Litter box arrived in an extremely damaged box that was poorly taped and used very thin cardboard with no extra filling to stop the cardboard from collapsing in on itself. One of the clips broke that hold the "Scatter Shield" down (I could not find the missing broken piece). The "Scatter Shield" is loose as a result, but so far the cats have not knocked it off the litter box.The bottom of the litter box flexes more than I was expecting, which off put the cats the first time they used the box and can cause litter to launch itself if they walk/jump on it in a certain way. But the "Scatter Shield" helps keep it in the box. I would have expected the bottom of the litter box to be reinforced better or be completely flat. Since the bottom is not flat, things tend to get stuck in the corners making it awkward to clean.The XL litter box has been working and was the size I was looking for, but I would not get this one again or recommend it, based on the overall experience.
