Product Description

IronMind Twist Yo Wrist Strengtheber

IronMind Twist Yo' Wrist - Forearm, Hand and Wrist Exerciser

Put a new spin on your lower arm training with the Twist Yo' Wrist: hit everything from your elbows to your fingertips for gains in strength, endurance, and muscle mass. Give it a turn for strong wrists in all directions and a new way to pump up your forearms, training your grip strength at the same time.

The Twist Yo' Wrist trains both your grip, wrist and forearm, and the movement is radial and ulnar deviation--picture opening a jar of peanut butter with one hand on the lid, the other on the bottom of the jar and twisting. It is designed so that you train both concentrically (winding up the cord) and eccentrically (allowing it to unwind under control).

4" diameter roller comes with a 4-ft. climbing-grade accessory cord and a small snap clip; use with or without a loading pin (not included).

Excellent. Exactly what I expected. I expected to be able to handle more weight, but ten pounds was actually enough to get in a basic workout. This works your hands in ways that nothing else will. the rope seems very durable, but its replaceable if it breaks. I imagine paracord would work alright. You have to hold your elbows in real tight to get the perfect side to side motion. If you do the same exercise with wrist bent at 90, you are working a whole new set of muscles. Between COC grippers and this and the standard forearm twister, I am confident my hands will get stronger. The plastic has a cheese smell which is weird, but functionally it seems fine and durable. It is made of plastic but it is heavy and feels solid. The outer rim is scored nicely to dig into your fingers and hand. I searched for a long time for a hammer style device that would do what this does, I found one but i had reservations about it; this seems far superior to me.

Edited 10/10/2023Originally I rated it one star because I believed it had hurt my ligaments. However it turns out that I actually had nerve issues elsewhere. That being said I've been using this product with a weight stack and it has been a serious game changer. Start slow and light and work your way up. Highly recommend.

A wrist and finger killer, I love it! Awesome grip texture, strong rope, built to last and cause aches for years.

I have been working on a lot of grip strength lately and I am always looking for new ways to work my hands, wrists and forearms. This product adds an interesting dimension to grip training, that I haven't been able to duplicate with other exercises. I am sure that I could have attempted to make a homemade PVC version of the product and would have saved a few bucks, but I am glad I didn't. The product is made just right and does not slip out of my hands. There is no need to use a lot of weight. I find that using 10-15 lbs. and keeping my elbows tight to my body, gets the job done. Good stuff.

A must have..a bit pricey but worth it. Will replace other equipment. It’s pretty simple technology BUT effective. Something I will be using for a long time

What a great way to train an often neglected body part. I feel so much stronger when doing every day things that require wrist movement. The knurled plastic feels remarkably heavy and well made, and the cord has already seen heavy abuse and come out unscathed. Altogether a quality product.

I thought it was Knurled Metal similar to a Barbell or Dumbbell but, I was surprisingly satisfied when it was a plastic material, Metal in that shape and size would be a chunk to hold by itself, would pose a grip challenge in itself and detriment the exercise it is purpose built for. Absolutely awesome product because it trains a part that I was widely leaving out because there wasn't a good way to train it otherwise.

I love it. Start really light with high repetitions first because the added weight can really stress your fingers out before even completing your good enough reps for the forearm. You will feel the aches knowing that your overloading your fingers with the heavy weight that you are used to doing fore your wrist/forearm.So drop the dumb ego and be smart for your fingers because you only got 10 of the lol.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!

A great accompaniment to wrist roller work, targets the fingers and forearm in a ‘different’ way (ie you’ll be surprised at how little weight can bring the deepest burn!)

Very good forearm and wrist strength builder.Compact. I keep it on my desk at work and do a few sets throughout the day. Go light 2.5kg plate at start and build up strength and endurance gradually. Its harder than you think.
