Working Principle
According to density difference and gravity, this grease traps work on the basic principal that Fats, oils & grease float on water and solid particles sink.
With fractional filtration and a slow rate of 4 G.P.M., it is pretty convenient to filter solid kitchen waste, oil and water in three steps.

We used for about a week then had to clean out. Nasty. At this point we are using a strainer in the sink and if you can keep the food out should go longer between cleaning. I'm still playing with it and this was the only one that would fit in our space. Think it's good deal.

Please do not buy this product. Made with cheap materials, not able to install drainage outlets. Because wall is too cheap and while installing drainage outlets water leaks all over. Stay away and find different brands.

The rubber tape to seal the lid was not continuous like it showed in the picture. infact only 50% of my lid is sealed.

This grease trap is awful. I only gave one star because it's the lowest I could go. It was missing parts and unusable. The worst purchase I have ever made. Definitely do not recommend.

No tiene una goma o empaque de sellado entre la tapa y El Cajon, se salen los olores espantosamente, toda el área huele mal. Pero eso no te lo dicen hasta después de instalada a la semana empiezan a salir los olores

Me gustó que es muy práctica para instalar, tiene lo necesario. Lo que no me gustó es que es muy pequeña para lo que lo necesitaba se llena y no hace la función de retener la grasa, los sólidos es perfecta. La manguera que tiene es muy delgada y casi no resiste el calor.
