These tools work as hard as I do. I picked up these tools to do some leather work and they did not quit. Very happy with my purchase. Found all sorts of things to repair with them aside from leather. I would recommend this set to anyone who needs a good repair tool or wants to pick up a new hobby

This is a great basic rivet gun. It comes with adapters and rivets in the mostly used sizes. Its’s a great value.

Used after breaking my first tool. Installed the rivets with no issues.

Ok, so it is what it is: a cheap riveter. The rivets seem ok so far, and the overall value is decent for this price.HOWEVERIt's really hard to use, especially if you're working in tight or inconvenient spaces (under a car, on a mower deck, etc.), but even when you're working at a work bench and have plenty of room this thing is hard to use. If you only need a quick/cheap solution for a few rivets, this is ok. But you plan on installing the 200+ rivets it comes with, you're going to regret it.Also, side-note: the largest size tip is still too small for the plastic rivets used on most car body panels. I got this one because it came with an extra tip larger than what most riveters offer (3/16"), and it's just a hair too small. I think a 7/32" tip would work, but I don't know if I can buy larger tips that fit this riveter, so I'm probably just out of luck on those.

I have a 1964 Galaxie 500 with a much larger engine and transmission than came with it. As such I had to put in a floor shifter. Problem was, I couldn't easily cover the shifter, so had to make and aluminum box to go around it. I'll eventually paint or cover the box and needed something low profile to secure. This pop rivet kit and gun worked great. At times, I struggled to get the stem out of the unit after placing a rivet. Regardless, it does work and I like it.

I used this to fix some metal chairs in our house. I found using the tool was easy, but once the shaft from the rivet popped out it would not come out of the gun. You can pull the handles together once, and the shaft would stay on the rivet. If you do the handle twice it would pop the shaft off of the rivet as it's supposed to. But when it took me a couple minutes just to get the old shaft out of the tool it was not worth it. I stopped squeezing the handles again to pop the shaft of the rivet off. I got tired of the effort and just began bending the shaft the shaft until it broke off the rivet. I am sure that is not how this is supposed to work, but for the job I had it worked. I would probably look into one that was a higher quality if I had a lot of work to do.

Not worth your time, stopped grabbing rivets and unable to crimp after 6 rivets placed...... Just absolute Chinese junk
