Great wine opener. Very simple process to pull the cork from the bottle and the same process releases the cork from the screw.

Works great but no built in foil cutter. Handle is heavy and sturdy, mechanism feels a little slippage so it may be a build quality issue.

This package arrived in bad shape. It also creaks and squeak and hardly fits the description i was given. Plus it does not even appear to work. I did a practice run thinking, despite outward appearance, it might function well; it did not.

Wish I could put a video on how easy to pull a cork and remove the cork from the tool. If it isn't, you're doing wrong. Yes, it's mechanical, not battery operated. Very well made, heavy and a beautiful piece of equipment. Wish I purchased this along time ago. Operation: Squeeze around the top of bottle lightly, push the handle down and lift back up. When cork comes out of the bottle and is still attached to the unit, squeeze the handle and repeat. The cork will fall right into your hand. I love it.

Regardless of brand, a design that positions you hand around the bottle neck like this is more stable to use than holding a pair of handles off to the side of the bottle.Our previous model was a Rabbit brand, similar to this. It worked well for a cpl years, they broke due to weak pivot pins. This unit feels more sturdy. And it requires less force than other models I've used.

Ich hatte hier in Amazon zu dem Korkenzieher die Frage gestellt: "Aus welchem Material besteht das Teil?" Als Antwort erhielt ich: "Aus Metall!"Das stimmt leider so nicht. Die Seitenteile bestehen aus schwarzem Kunststoff. Die beiden Hebel und die Schraube/Spirale bestehen aus Metall. Die Mechanik aus Kunststoff. Allerdings sieht die Verarbeitung sehr robust aus, daher werde ich den Korkenzieher behalten.Funktioniert auch prima. Und lässt sich einfach hinstellen.Allerdings gibt es dann im Vergleich andere Sets, die außerdem einen Kapselschneider und/oder eine Ersatzspirale enthalten. Sollte man sich also überlegen.
