Finally got around to getting a corked wine when trying to use the pump it did not push any air into the bottle and was not durable the plastic bits broke and just pushed the cork into the wine, this is not because I did something wrong bought 2 and the other worked as intended which was nice since it was a gift and the other parts worked as intended but it’s on the cheap side so you get what you pay for sadly.

I've used a variety of wine openers in my lifetime. The positives of this type are that it does work, it's relatively easy to use, and it doesn't require a charge. However, you do have to pump it quite a few times to build sufficient pressure to pop the cork out, so given a choice, I would choose an electric opener over this style. I do like that this one comes with both and aerator and a foil opener. The opener itself is nice to have either as a back up or when traveling.
