This is a great beginner kit, and an incredible value. The hooks alone would normally set you back twice what this costs.The yarn is definitely not the best quality, but that's perfect for a beginner, because you'll be using up a lot of it with practice.My only gripe is that the included instruction book is not very useful, and actually leaves out some important information for beginners. But it's really a non-issue, when you can go to YouTube and find thousands of training videos.

It has been many years since I crocheted and I wanted an inexpensive practice set before I approached a complicated project. This was perfect for practice and I didn’t have to break the bank. It has all the tools I need and plenty of yarn for practice.

Great starter kit for learning to crochet. The yard was a little loose but it was no problem for making little things for my kids to play with. The hooks are amazing and come in so many sizes, as well as all the little extras that come with it. Great product! Used the yarn to make granny squares to put in a big blanket. Just started a blanket with the hooks now that I finished using the yarn up.

The knit came with everything needed to start crocheting, however, as I started to use the yarn the threads started to unravel. I'm giving it 3 stars but the kit is great but for this price either spend that money on kit with more items or buy a cheaper kit and get better quality yarn. It does come with a very nice bag for holding the yarn but it probably wouldn't fit much yarn from anywhere else.

When I bought this I didn't know how to crochet, Since buying this I'm starting to save money on things I would normally buy by doing stuff my self! Example I've made my daughter dresses and hats, without haveing to spend crazy amounts as she grows!

For beginner crochet people it works. But it needs a clear video or better instructions to follow.

I bought for a friend so she could learn to crochet. The accessories came nicely packed and with instruction book on a nice carrying case. Price was ressonable too. Order came on time to gift it to her. She was very surprised and happy. Reccomend for some one new to croçhet to try out.

This was a gift for a young person. They loved it and make good use of it. The instructions that were included were very much appreciated. Here's to a new crocheted who will have this craft as a hobby for their lifetime.

Don’t buy this. Firstly, descriptions wrong you only get 1200 feet of yard not 2600 and there are duplicates and they are as so cheap. You can’t even get it to work for crocheting don’t buy.

Good kit for a beginner to get started.Good price for everything that you get, a trip to Michael’s with the essentials would have been 3x this price.However, the thread is cheap and frays…clearly not the best for a beginner as it makes it difficult to see your work. Wish the little handbook would explain the steps a little better as well.Overall good purchase if you find YouTube tutorials and invest in better yard once you get the hang of things!
