Buyers' Concerns

Q: Does this fit securely inside the top of a standard floor jack? Worried about the metal on metal sliding off the jack.

A: As long as your standard jack has a base that is rubber and not just metal as metal on metal would indeed slip.

Q: I have 2015 Challenger SRT. Do these work with dealer shop lifts alone or do you need spacer pucks? If so what kind are recommended?

A: The magnetic jack pads will work on any jack or lift with a backing plate of sufficient size. If your jack has a backing plate, it will work and no shims are needed

Q: my car's pinch weld seam sits on the white magnetic part, is that safe?

A: Yes. The white part is teflon that doesn't compress. The magnets are set into the teflon and do not go all the way through. They are not baring the weight of your car.

Q: Should the magnetic nylon piece be attached to the aluminum base? They do not seem to be on mine, and I am wondering if that is normal.

A: Yes, it should be connected to the aluminum part, but due to the long transportation, there may be signs of looseness. If you find it loose, press it in and use it again. Or you can ask us.

Q: Is the weight of the car transferred to the inner nylon part or the outer metal part?

A: It depends on the depth of the weld. If the weld is deeper than the metal side of the jack pad, the nylon part and the magnet will bear the load. After repeated use, the nylon will deform.
