Exactly what I wanted (with the rubber backing instead of metal. They even come in a nice plastic case you can reuse when they’re gone now I’m addicted to making everything into a damn pin or magnet (ordered those also haha) oh well, better than doing drugs so WIN

I made clay pins and glued the pin backs on them with Gorilla glue. They work great

needed to hold 2 pieces of fabric together in embroidery machine. Vibration and pulling tension made Tie Pins to come loose. Because of the small size the pin was very difficult to find after falling on floor.

Using epoxy to fasten to stainless steel blanks and they are strong! The backing work well also and I let people pay extra if they want the fancy ones.
