Very good quality. I purchased these from a different seller and the moss was poor quality. I am very happy that this seller had very healthy plants. If you are using aquatic moss for the first time, my advice would be to leave it in its original clump when you first plant it. I have had the most positive outcome this way. I would, and will, be a repeat customer. Thank you

I bought these in October and gave a glowing review which I have now deleted and am updating here. I split the 3 containers of moss between 2 tanks after rinsing the moss. What I didn’t do was quarantine the moss, but I’m not sure that would have helped. I have not added any new fish to either tank. A few weeks after adding the moss to both tanks, I started losing fish in one of them. Then I noticed these “string-like†strands hanging from their bellies. After much research, I discovered they’re anchor worms, very lethal and not easy to get rid of. Last week I started losing fry in my baby tank. Yesterday I saw 3 of them with anchor worms. I was completely floored because I have separate nets, vacuums, etc for each of my tanks. So I started treating that tank as well. I had also begun treating the adult tank with antibiotics because they developed a secondary infection from the worms. I had saved the little containers the moss came in because I thought they might come in handy for thawing frozen fish food. I grabbed one of them to mix the medication in, and was mortified to see about 6 dried up anchor worms in the container. I had to think hard where I had gotten the container from and realized the moss had come in it. At the time I thought those were little pieces of moss in the container and didn’t think twice about it. Now I realize how both tanks became infested with anchor worms and I’m heartbroken at the number of very expensive fish I lost. I hold myself partly responsible for not quarantining these plants, but since I’ve always bought fish and plants from reputable dealers, I was lulled into a false sense of security. Besides, I’m not sure I would have seen them in the moss - I didn’t see them until they were attached to my fish. I guess the thing to do is soak plants in a 10% bleach and water solution and then rinse them really well before putting them in your tank - or - buy your plants from a LFS that you know and absolutely trust. It’s not worth the risk buying from someone you don’t know. This has been a very expensive and heart breaking experience for me, but I learned a very difficult lesson that I will never forget.

This is what to expect, if you don’t know it will be everywhere in your tank. There fish pick at this plant and becomes loose and floats throughout your tank clogging filters clogging wave makers. Just a mess. You can contain some of this by gluing it down on rocks or drift wood but at the end of the day it’s a messy little plant.

At first, I thought the Java Moss looked too brown and it’s appearance was not good. It was hot outside when delivered. But, I decided to put them in my tank anyway and the Java Moss looked a lot better. I ordered several plants from this seller and they were all packaged nicely, and ordering several buy 2 get 1 free deals from this seller proved to be a good value for my money. Plants were of good size. The other plants were bright green and healthy. Hopefully the Java moss will continue to grow in my tank. I had an issue with the delivery date changing. I was unsure what the original estimated delivery date was, as when the seller bought the expedited shipping label I had paid for, the tracking started, making my plants appear late, then the delivery estimate was changed again to 6 days later. The seller was quick to respond and said they were waiting for one of the plants to grow more. After voicing concerns, the seller shipped the plants out and the plants arrived sooner than the “new†estimated delivery date. If this would bother you, I recommend taking a snapshot of the original delivery date for your own personal tracking. Overall, I am happy and plan on ordering from them again. The Java moss is still a little brown compared to the other plants, but I think it adds a nice color contrast to my tank.
