They claim “...excellent sturdiness and stability and can support 55 lbs of weight…â€. Luckily I bought this to support a 17 pound item. It’s a bit wobbly with the 17 pounds on it, and the part of the tray that overhangs (the part at your tummy when seated at it) sags when the 17 pound is on it, even though my item is heaviest where it sits towards the back of the tray (where the legs of this stand come down). I tried a 35 pound item on it, and it did support it, although it was very wobbly and unsteady, and was Scary to have the 35 pounds at the front of the tray (more sturdy but still quite wobbly when the weight is moved back). It is well-made though and fits together easily. Great for the price!
