It's nice to have this for leveling up my cupcake decorating for sure. Everything I need comes in this handy kit. The cookie tips make cute cookies perfect for everyday or holiday treats. All the standard Piping tips for most home baskets are included.

I was anxious to try this cookie press. I grew up eating what was then known as "spritz" cookies. My mother made tons of Christmas tree cookies we would then decorate. I'm not sure what happened to that aluminum cookie press, but I still have the cookie recipe. This cookie press comes with a recipe, but it calls for ingredients that are measured by weight and include: "pure milk," almond meal and slow gluten flour. I'm not sure what "pure milk" is, and I don't have almond meal or slow gluten flour; so I used my mother's old recipe. It didn't go well. The dough was a little too thick to come out when you squeezed the trigger, which was difficult. However, had I thinned out the dough, the cookies wouldn't hold their shape when baking.I do like using it for frosting, meringue, choux, etc. It's easy to assemble and clean. It's so lightweight, i was worried about durability; however, that doesn't seem to be a problem. I'll give the cookies another try with a different recipe.

Works well. Easy to set up with multiple cookie styles as well as piping icing tips. I wish there was a decent recipe, the one included in the box wasn't really American friendly. I have an older electric cookie press I got at a yard sale years ago which had a full recipe book so, I used a chocolate cookie recipe from that book and me and my little 6 year old tried this out today! Although she had a hard time squeezing the handle, because of her small hand but otherwise, very easy to use and made a nice batch of cookies. Definitely a keeper!

Works so much better than a spoon or measuring cup to get just the right amount of cookie mix out, which really helps the cookies come out looking great.

Easy to use cookie press made of stainless steel which also includes 13 stainless steel cookie discs and 8 icing tips. Some parts of the press are plastic, does not seem to sturdy but it gets the job done. Works like a caulk gun, easy to load and use. Hand cleaning is best, comes with a foam tool to clean the stainless steel barrel. Nice selection of cookie disc designs and decorative icing tips. Fun tool to have.

I really was excited to get this set because i’ve been on a baking binge lately, but I don’t have any decorating equipment. This seemed like an all encompassing set. It came with the disk for making cookie shaped as well as decorating tips. Unfortunately, my butter short bread cookies kept coming out stringing and didn’t take any shapes.I found this pretty difficult to use. There is a description for baking but it should work with more than 1 type of dough. Because it’s a gun style trigger I also don’t see how you can make continuous designs.all in all this wasn’t for me.

I've had about half a dozen cookie presses in my life, some better than others. I could not get this one to work, despite taking it apart several times and reassembling it. I cut my hand on the rod.For the price I expected better quality.I'll try it one more time ( after 2 attempts), maybe adding some liquid to the dough to make it thinner, but my recipe has always worked for many years, so we'll see . . . .FYI- If you're looking for a recipe to use in a cookie press, the traditional recipe is called Spritz cookies. Betty Crocker has the classic recipe.

This basic cookie press comes with 13 discs for lots of shapes. It also has 8 frosting tips. The edges are sharp, so use care when washing or attaching. It was easy to wash, assemble and use. While it works well, it is pricey for the budget quality.
