The M10 can withstand over 2200lbs of force and indulge shooters with a smooth, effortless trigger pull. The ergonomic handle and hexagon pattern increase grip control and accuracy. Two qualities that are a must when the water current is strong and the stakes high. Elite models have a fully inlaid muzzle, stainless steel line anchor with reel eyelet, universal accessory rail mount, and side grooves for increased traction. Fantastic gun! Plenty powerful for the size, but you still need to be close to the fish. Works great stalking near shore in mangroves or under docks/marinas and tight quarters. Packs and fits nicely into luggage for travel NOT requiring a special bag.Trigger is great, locks up tight and has consistent and predictable feel. Just remember to rinse out the salt water and sand before it sits overnight and dries or it'll get a little sticky (not affecting function-only feel).Line-over design mimics more expensive guns like AB Biller, and the line is rigged nicely with a little rubber bung to prevent rubbing against the gun.I found the finish to be too dull and un-inspiring, also rough around the muzzle where the bands are looped thru causing chaffing. So I stripped everything down to the barrel blank and sanded, working my way up to 600 grit. Then I applied a rub-on minwax high gloss Tung Oil; lightly sanded between coats. finally I applied a high gloss Spar Varnish for a glass like and tough finish. Definitely worth the effort.

As I'm new to spear fishing, I went into my order without having done my homework. I ordered a spear gun and tip that were not compatible. I quickly received an email enquiring if I had purposely ordered these two items together. After a couple emails and a phone call, Scott helped me sort it all out and come up with a feasible plan to get my order correct (well ahead of the expected delivery date). This type of attention to detail is almost unheard of anymore - especially when ordering online. Competitors beware; "Myscubashop" has set the bar on customer service!

The bands that come with this gun are tougher than other guns to load. Fantastic gun, though. I put a neoprene recoil pad for a shotgun over the butt and it made all the difference. For the price, I highly recommend.

Everything you'd expect from JBL. Unfortunately mine arrived broken but dive catalog went out of their way to make it right so I didn't miss my trip!
