I replaced my gas cap door on my 2005 F150 xlt when it wouldn't close any more. Watched all the installation videos. It's pretty tricky getting it in there, but it's a great fit. Added bonus is my gas cap is now attached as well, and I don't have to worry about losing it :)

Better quality than other similar ones at the same cost. I tried other before from another source and brand and after installing it the door wouldn't close all the way. This part fir well and the door actually closed well and remained tight.

I have a 2005 ford f150 my gas door was flapping open & i didn’t know why so i watched a youtube vid to figure it out & it was because of a broken spring inside so i ordered this part, swapped my old one and good as new also very easy to install just look it up and take your time!

This thing works a lot better than my broken one but it came with no instuctions and was hard to fit in. I'm a pretty handy guy. I've done several gas and diesel engine swaps. This thing was a pain and in the end the door does not close flat.I have an 06 Ford F-150. I don't need it to be perfect but the door looks tweaked. This fits to about 80-90%. If that's good enough then rock on, buy this one. If not, then buy a different one because I doubt the bad fit is my fault.
