Not a reliable stabilizing component. Stems jostle in transport/vibrate on different road surfaces, though each is stabilized in its own rectangular bucket to prevent tipping—on arrival the arrangement foam base is breaking up in pieces, rendering entire floral unstable—tending to tip forward, individual flower placement has shifted. 🫤

I am new to flower arrangement so I’ve been through some trials regarding the use of wet sponges. It can be an expensive hobby so you try to minimize your expenses as much as possible. I’ve leaned that density matters when it comes to arranging large flower bouquets and choosing a high density foam over a lower density will produce more stable arrangements. I will be ordering these again!
