So thankful we found this water well pump- ours finally quit after 30+ years. We couldn’t get this brand locally or very quickly! So happy we could purchase through Amazon. It arrived on time- 2 days turn around time. It works perfectly!

Sta-rite makes great pumps. Sta-rite and Myers pumps (two of the best pumps available) are now both owned by Pentair. I replaced a Myers pump with this Sta-rite as the myers 3/4hp was not available on short notice. Install was easy and the pump is running very well so far. I hope that the quality of this new Sta-rite unit will live up to the repuation of the older Sta-rite unitsFYI - The off-brand pumps sold at your local home depot/lowes/menards/etc are garbage - Do not waste your money on them - You will be lucky to get a year out of an off brand pump. Spend a little bit more and get something quality like a Sta-rite/Myers/Grundfos/etc - You will be glad that you did. Wrestling with jet pumps down in a dirty well pit isn't fun.

I bought this pump in March of 2024 and shortly after installing it, it doesn’t build pressure past 20 before it shuts off. Feeling the pump casing, you will burn yourself. I would return it but it is past the time for a return.

You can't go wrong with a Sta-Rite pump. My husband was in the water well business and Sta-Rite was their brand of choice. These are very reliable pumps. We are using this pump on our secondary water well to water our yard and the water pressure difference is dramatic compared to the one we bought less than 5 years at a tractor-chain store, which bit the dust.

The pump is great. But the way it’s packaged is terrible. The pump broke off of the plywood it was mounted on during shipment and the pressure switch was damaged from all the bouncing around in the box. I had a spare pressure switch and mounted the pump to the plywood removed from the old pump, but be sure to test everything out before you throw the old one away…unlike me.

Works perfectly in my installation, as a booster pushing water about 15' up hill from a 3000 gal tank for household supply. I had some issues getting it to work correctly with my odd collection of pressure tanks and initially (and briefly) it went through a series of rapid cycles but is apparently none the worse for wear. it's been humming along for just 8 months with no trouble at all. I have complete confidence that it will last for many years to come.

I’ve never done any work with water pumps but when my old one got damaged over this past winter we needed a replacement. Read reviews and went with this one. Had it installed in under 2 hours after some YouTube videos and self primed it. Within 10 minutes of the new pump being turned on and primed, we had full water pressure back! Lifesaver.
