I've owned several loupes in the 5X to 20X range, and this is by far my favorite among them. The light combined with the wide field of view make it pleasant to use. And the glass reticles make it even more useful, so it packs a lot of functionality packed in a small package. I should have bought something like this 10 years ago. And I was very pleasantly surprised when I started using it.Yes, this is one of those products that seem to have been duplicated and sold by several brands, but it feels really solid and I'm happy with the build quality so far. When I first unpacked it, one of the batteries kept slipping out of its compartment, and I had to ever-so-slightly bend its metal holder before the unit would function. Otherwise I'm very happy!

I love this tool for measuring facets during gemcutting. The problem I have is that the ruler markings on the glass are not protected from scratching. I already need a replacement glass for the mm measure disc, but I don't know where to get one.

It’s sturdy and it has clear optics. It will be very useful to me for the identification of invertebrates (mostly insects) and plants. Many dichotomous keys require measuring small parts of the organism. I have an old small loupe with a reticle that I used a lot for many years. It doesn’t have the variety of measurements that this one has, so I think this new one will be more useful.

I purchased for inspecting optics, when reticle installed have to almst touch optic to be in focus. Light is nice option.

I really like this illuminating magnifier. Baught it for use with my stamp collection. I tend to use the horizontal measurement scale lens most of the time, but have found the lenses of use as well. The focus adjustable ring feels smooth to operate and the body is nice and solid. The only slight quibble I would have is the slide switch for the light is a bit small and looks like bit basic. A larger flat switch would look and feel better, I think. But this is a minor quibble to a great magnifier.

Un produit d'excellente qualité, une mise au point très sensible et précise. Les quatre disques fourni sont aussi de très bonne qualité. L'éclairage ne crée pas de zone d'ombre. un rapport qualité/prix imbattable. un seul regret, j'ai consulté avant achat le site du fabriquant et il existe une dizaine de disques échelonnés. Pourquoi Amazon ne les vent il pas ?Ir Simon Ph.
