I recently threw my daughter a “fancy†tea party for her fourth birthday and wanted to do a little dress up area for her little friends. I was looking around for some feather boas and came across this listing. Since they are four year olds and little ones, we didn’t need super over the top fluffy ones that were majorly expensive, but I also didn’t want cheap ones that were really thin and would shed. These were PERFECT. I love that they were multi color, so the kiddos could pick which one they wanted and they were also so soft! Not scratchy or itchy and they didn’t shed at all. They came vacuum sealed in a little bag so I took them out a couple of days before the party (they did have a bit of a funny smell) and I draped them on a hanger to 1. Let them air out and 2. Fluff up a bit and straighten out. I highly recommend if you are using these for a party or an event; order ahead and do this. The kids loved them and even after using them for the party they are still in excellent condition-the ones we have left and I’ll pack them up for later use. Very impressed for the price and the amount you get!

these are not made of feathers. the colors are cute and true to the picture but they’re on the shorter and thinner side. i recommend to double up.

I wish I had read some of these reviews before I purchased it. This is "artificial" not real feathers. It's some kind of stringy yarn and it sticks to everything! If you plan to decorate a Christmas tree do not use these. They ripped to shreds when caught in the pine needles and I had a hard time getting it all off. I'm a crafter and this stuff isn't really good for anything.

Pros: nice colorsCons: not fluffy like a true feather boa, even after using hair dryer on cool setting as recommended. Even put in dryer on low heat to see if it would help…didn’t.Looks like a bunch of strings put together

These are a great product! They are made from string but it is very soft and fluffy... Yet they did not shed all over our clothing. Perfect....

I was hesitant to purchase these due to some of the reviews I read. But I took a chance and got them, and I am very happy I did. They came in a shrink wrap package, and I was a little leery. But when I opened them up and shook them out, they were perfect! They were used for a musical that my friends and I went to see. The colors were vibrant. I did not notice a lot of shedding. Everybody was happy with the boas. . Of course they aren’t huge but they were perfect. I would definitely purchase these again. I did not notice any smell or not a lot of shedding like some of the reviews said. Get these for any type of a fun party that you are having. You won’t be sorry.

These worked very well for my chorus concert I had in may and were good quality, only one ended up tearing with a lot of force put on it.
