This boa looks great around the shoulder or used as a trimming for evening wear, prom dresses, costumes, hat pieces and theatrical events. We only use the best quality feathers, hand sewn and perfectly dyed to vibrant colors. After you receive the boas, please pull them out of the PVC bag(s), preferably outdoors, in order to get rid of debris formed during processing and shipping. The boas should be hung for 48 to 72 hours before use. The longer you hang them up, the better they will look. Feather boas are also washable. Clean the boas by hand washing in warm water and soap. Rinse off the soap with cold water. Then, wipe off the boas with a towel or paper towels. After removing most of the excess water, use a blow dryer to finish drying the boas and maintain their fluffiness. All of our feather products have been professionally cleaned, steamed, and sanitized. Horrible product. I bought for a dress up day at school. The feathers started falling off the second I pulled it out of the package. It didn’t even last until lunch time and we eat lunch at 10:30! What do we left of the product was in the trash before the end of the day. Would not recommend.

I bought this Mardi Gras feather lei to customize a pair of jeans for my Mardi Gras birthday, and it was perfect! I love this item. I used it to decorate the skeleton on my office door in observance of the Mardi Gras season. The feather boa is colorful and the length was what I was looking for.

This boa is much thinner and shorter than it looks online. In fact, it is comparable to some dollar store boas that I also bought, although these colors are nicer. The photo online shows it reaching to the tops of the thighs, but in actuality, it barely hits the top of the waist. It would be fine for a young child, but if that's the case, save your money and go to the dollar store!
