Had a young student who was having a difficult time remembering where her fingers went. This helps her to know the correct positioning for a secure and non-bad-habit-forming bow hold. When she graduates to the next size violin, we can use the larger size (if she still needs that help!).

We gave up after three adults and multiple kids tried to install this. Useless.

I was looking for something at a low cost to help my students get a good bow hold. The other items on amazon were very expensive. This could help beginning students but getting It on the bow is very hard and should be done by a teacher. I guess this is one of those you get for what you pay for situations.

This was not as helpful or comfortable as I was expecting. It's also a pain in the butt to install, you have to take the bow apart.
