I recently began playing clarinet again after over a year of not playing. My clarinet stand mysteriously disappeared...I suspect it is buried in a box in the garage from when we had to re-carpet our entire house and move...everything. LOLI ordered this, I won't lie, because it was cheap. But it isn't "cheap." It is sturdy, I have it on carpet and it doesn't wobble at all. Probably would seem even more stable on flooring.I have no issues with it whatsoever.

This product absolutely works and will hold a clarinet up. It's neither impressive, nor nonfunctional so it deserves a solid 3/5. Compared to the K&M clarinet stand, this product is fairly light, cheaply made, and bit wobbly. It's a great stand for students who just need somewhere to put their instrument, but not as sturdy as the K&M.If you play clarinet regularly and are used to using a stand, I would go with the K&M one, not this. It's worth it. This one is just a very cheap dupe. I bought this after someone broke my K&M stand, but couldn't stand the wobbliness and ended up buying the K&M one anyway. I let one of my clarinet students borrow this in class since it's cheap and won't be a big deal if they do break it.

Great value for the money, very stable and does exactly what I need. I am able to set my instrument down and walk away without having to worry about it falling. Given it's nature you still have to be a bit careful, but it is definitely a sturdy item.

The glue holding the padding was coming away when we opened the packet, it is still intact but looks unprofessional, the design is a good idea and compact
