Sturdy hollow rock. Our snake spends most of his days in it! It looks like a real canyon rock and easy to clean.

Sides were chipped bad in shipping I’m guessing. I sanded down for my little guy and washed it off. Other than that seems to work pretty well for our set up.

The size is not the measurement on the picture. I had the small size selected and scrolled down to the picture. I checked the sizes that were shown. When it arrived it was much smaller than the picture. The measurements for the small are listed differently in the description, I should have double checked but very misleading. ☹ï¸

This a strong sturdy hide and I recommended Exoterra however it was much smaller than i needed so i had to return it. This is more suitable for smaller reptiles not ball pythons.

This hide says it's a medium but it's too small for my juvenile bearded dragon. It's the exact dimensions it states, it's just not big enough for a smaller sized animal.

Although labelled a size large, the hide is much longer and narrower than photos suggests. Too small even for an average adult male ball python. May be okay for a juvenile.

Great quality, washes well, my daughters year old gecko still fits in both houses (but does prefer the larger one). Makes for a good sun bathing spot as well! I did give the edges a little sand as I'm a worry wart.

The bottom edges are very sharp where the cut or mold the base. I cut my thumb on one of them. Had to grind the edges off before putting them in with live animals.
