This 1U Server Rack Shelf is with no lip at the front. Meanwhile, we add an stiffener at the front making the shelf stronger. The upside back lip is good for holding objects.

I purchased due to price. I have this shelf, the 4U rack and a patch panel, all from same company. Happy with the fit and quality for this price point.The shelf works as intended and holds up my router. Matches my rack and comes with screws needed to mount. Feels sturdy and vent holes are a nice add to help keep equipment cool. I will likely add a small switch to shelf next.The only thing I found confusing is the description for the product. In the pictures and verbiage, it shows multiple options, with and without a lip. I originally assumed it had flexibility in install options but after looking at the multiple listings realized that the lip and no lip options were different products, so do make sure you order the correct option.

I got this for my mobile music rig. I use a laptop live that I keep in a skb laptop roadcase. Underneath I have 4 rack spaces. My first space has a power conditioner rack mounted l, followed by a 8 channel audio interface. At the very bottom I added this rack to Velcro a d.I. Box and my laptops power supply. It’s got plenty of room, possibly enough to add another pedal or electronic music related device. Came with all the proper screws and fits perfect. The build quality is solid and has been holding up well at all our shows.

The thing that struck me right after unpacking the box is that it is NOT a single piece - instead, you get several pieces to assemble the shelf before it can be mounted. Not a big deal, but this is also not very sturdy, and I'm not sure these zinc screws can be trusted. Definitely won't carry much weight, but gets the job done.Decent value for money, looks very well (except for the screw heads or nuts that you need to use to assemble the shelf). The good thing is that the mounting gives some flexibility if your rack is uneven. Fits very well

I was able to mount and rack about 22 pounds of equipment in the shelf without issue. It is thinner than shelves I normally use, but I purchased this for a location which will not see hard use. For the price it is a good value.

Great shelves for your rack. I recommend installing them with the loadbearing configuration whether it's for heavy stuff or not, as the cantilever configuration actually seems to be the best option either way. I tried it installed normally and it just seemed to sag either way.These are great rack shelves. I have an Amcrest NV4108E NVR on one of them, installed with the lip on the underside so it won't put stress on the ethernet cables/RJ45 ports by getting hung up, and it holds it with no saggage. I have a couple of desktop switches sitting on the other shelf, as I purchased two of these and I'm glad I did.Well made shelves for my purposes, and I highly recommend them.

I was putting my band's mixer through a dry run and wanted a way to keep the cables from dangling on the floor (see photo - that's the before shot). This shelf was exactly what I was looking for. It is well made, easy to assemble and is sturdy enough to keep our mixing rack tidy. I'm sure that I'm not using it the way it was designed to be used, but it works great this way, too.

I bought this to use as a top shelf in my 4U rack at home. Although my rack allows only M4 screws and no rack nuts, this shelf came with its own M6 screws and rack nuts that would have made it extremely easy to install. Very much recommended for the price.

Mounting slots are not standard M6 bolt friendly.slightly smaller than the standard.
