Easy to install if you can read the tiny instructions. I searched online and found more readable ones and the job was easy.The trick is that you have to close the shutter on the eyepiece in order to unscrew the existing eyecup.It does work with my glasses on, but works better without them.

You won't find a better large eyeglasses cup, or just really good large shooting eyecup. I know cuz I've gone through 20, to find this one. A. It comes with the Nikon Accurare flanged extended screw in mount, with the metal tension c ring to boot! B. It's attached via a raised lip and fit eyecup, so it spins easy, but does not fall off. C. It folds fwd completely with no interference, Im finally pumped about my eye piece!! Its merely a bonus it's a 1/3, an OEM style part that's nearly 1/2" smaller, and it's soft. It holds shape for viewings, but it doesn't pull my glasses off when I move back. It's picture is receiving, it's BIG, I use it on a D4, and though I use a field monitor for filming I use a loupe on the D4, I can just flip this up, vs unscrewing even a DK-19, it's a 5, star 100%!

Great way to reduce stray light when trying to focus or compose image in camera Nikon D800 and D810. Easy to install and once in place the cup can be rotated depending on vertical or horizontal holding of camera.

I use this Eye Cup on the Nikon D810. It fits well and works wonderfully. To me, it is so much better than what the camera came with. You can adjust it to block any side-light from obstructing your view and is much more comfortable as well. Definitely worth the small price.

I have one for A Canon 5DSR and it fits perfectly. I both not for the D850 and it needs to be larger to be usable. I would not buy this again.

Ended up needing an eye piece before a trip and the only one available was on Amazon, with overnight shipping. I got this in and put it on immediately. Quality is great and there IS a protective plastic on BOTH sides, so remember to remove it before you install. Time will tell if the rubber will deteriorate or not... I'm happy with the choice...

I lost the rubber ring for my nikon dk-17m eyepiece and could not a replacement rubber ring or complete eyepiece. Given it is my backup camera I didn't want to pay a fortune so I chose this product. Guess you get what you pay for. The lens which appeared to be plastic and has what appears to be a crack. Also, there are smudges on the lens which will not come off. It looks like glue on the lens. Whatever it is it won't come off. Returning for a full replacement.

I recently purchased a used Nikon D500, and was not happy with the original eyepiece. All of my other cameras have some sort of eyecup, so I searched about on Amazon and decided to get this one.It was easy to install and works perfectly.
