When it came in the mail the pieces were all accounted for and it great condition. The instructions don't make assembly easy to understand. It looks self explanatory, but if you've never handled one before you might think that you're putting it on wrong. I like the flexibility of the stand. It's firm, but I can mold it's legs onto a lot of surfaces. If you're creative enough you can really place this anywhere. Fridge handles, trees, bed posts, lamps, fences, poles, anything it can "octopus" itself around and you're set. It worked great for my iPhone 6 plus, but once I got my 8 plus, even with the case off it got too big so now I have to get another one. I'm still going to keep it because I would like to use it for my digital camera. The quality feels kind of cheap like it's going to break if you're not careful with it, but I've pulled the legs too and fro and they're still standing. (No pun intended, hahaha) I wish it were a bit taller sometimes so I wouldn't recommend this if you need a tall one for whole body shots, but if you're just doing something on a desk then this is perfect.

This is a great device. It works great with the Nokia Lumia 1020 that I'm using it with. It's small and easy to carry around and set up. I love the design, it makes it very adaptable to different situations. You could even take off the expandable top piece that holds the phone and just use the screw or even use another attachment on it. With the current attachment though, it fits most phone. It doesn't work too well with the Sony Z3C though. It's just because of where Sony put the power/volume buttons. It makes it so you have to use the extreme left or right sides so It's not as stable as it would be with other phones. But it still works.

I bought this to hold my iPhone while I'm talking to my Mom and siblings via FaceTime. It works great! It holds the iPhone snugly and is very stable on the tabletop. The mount detaches so if I wanted to, I could always attach my iPhone to a standard tripod. My daughter plays the violin, and when you are video-recording a 5+ minute piece holding up your iPhone... you feel the burn in your arm muscles! I started using a monopod with my digital camera, and the mount makes it so I could use my iPhone instead of the camera.Additionally the mount also stretches wide enough to fit the Samsung Galaxy S4 with a Spigen Slim Armor case installed. It's my teen daughter's S4 and she actually uses this mini-tripod more than I do... taking selfies, video-recording herself and friends singing, dancing, playing videogames... and everything else that teens do.I tried the wrap-around legs (like they show them around a branch in the promo pic) and although it works, I wished the legs were just a tad longer, it would make the wrap-around much easier. This is the only reason for the missing star.Great product! I would recommend to any and everyone!

I have been frequently using this product for a few months and can say that is okay. It ins't the best quality in the world but it gets the job done most of the time. It fits my phone well and holds it, although it does slide around a little bit which can be kind of annoying at times. Also, sometimes it is very creaky and sounds like it may pop. One other thing, at times, it slips around when you try to wrap it around things because the legs are super long.

(Review written by my girlfriend, who received the tripod)This tripod is absolutely wonderful to use for small cameras or any cell phone. It can hold onto cell phones whose width is 2.1 - 2.8 inches (5.4 - 7.2 cm) with or without a case, just as long as the total width doesn't exceed 2.8 inches, or 7.2 cm. The top portion that grips the cell phone attaches to the rest of the tripod with a universal 1/4" screw, which allows you to remove the GripTight portion and attach a point-and-shoot camera instead. You really can position it in just about any position you can imagine. Each of the little round beads on the unit is fully positionable independently of the next one, allowing for nearly infinite possibilities. I use this to photograph the jewelry I make and sell (as a small business owner), and it definitely improved my ability to take great photos. I recommend this to anyone who needs a tripod of any kind. It's inexpensive, durable, and you'll almost certainly find dozens of ways to use it.Note: It also makes a great phone mount from the rearview mirror if you use your phone as a GPS device while driving.

Funciona muy bien, solo cuesta un poco de trabajo encontrar el equilibrio cuanto pones el celular vertical pero aun asà funciona muy bien.

It fits... barely... with my Lumia 830 and Incipio Octane case... If i were to purchase again i would have selected the XL version...But this one does fit...And its really really really... versatile...Don't forget about the Lock and the release button for the mount attachement...

How often have you been out with your family and wanted to take a photo of you all but can't because someone needs to hold the camera, or find a great view you'd love to be in but can't for the same reason, or just want a stable shooting platform while you're out?, probably more then you realise, I certainly have, we'll meet the solution, the Joby Gorillapod tripod for smaller phones. While not everyone carries a camera all the time, more and more people are carrying phones with cameras, so why miss out on those shots for the sake of a few pounds. This will fit most normal phones, NOT larger models, so make sure you check the dimensions before buying. I'm using it with a iPhone 5S and it fits perfectly. It couldn't be easier to assemble, remove the tripod clip from the top, (a simple push button release) attach the clip to the phone clamp, then reattach as needed to the tripod. It will easily fit in a cargo pants pocket/coat pocket/bag with very little weight it is totally unobtrusive while you're out and about. As a tripod for the phone it's ideal. As a normal tripod it is perfectly weighted to be stable, while as previously stated unobtrusive while you're carrying it. Where it really shines is its selling point, namely when you attach it to something using its multi faceted ball legs, only got a tree, fit it to a branch, on a footpath, use the handrail if there's one, I old go on but I'm sure you get the point, as long as it's not overly large there's not much the Gorillapod can't attach to.There might be cheaper alternatives out there but I am sure they won't be of the quality of this product, and really is £16 that much? Worth every penny, very happy and would definitely recommend this product.
