It adjusts easily, which I like. I own Manfrottos, so I know a good tripod when I see it. Out here, in the west, I get to see many different tripods for spotting scopes, cameras and bino's. I've tried a few myself also. This is a great tripod for the money. K&F Concept delivered. I own some of their filters and gimble heads.Didn't think I would like the ball head, but even it is really good once you get used to it.I can easily switch out the head for a gimble or gear head. It's great for my Nikon P950 camera that zooms out to 2000mm with the lens, not digitally. It goes to 3000mm digitally. So, it's a large lens. I have put my spotting scopes and 15x56 bino's on it also. All work well and it has no problem being stable.Love that is light-weight and I can carry with one hand, even with camera on it. It looks sharp, does what it's designed to do, and performs well as a light-weight. Definitely recommend.

I work on documentaries and have to travel with a lot of gear. This is a great all around tripod that does exactly what I need. It supports a decent amount of weight and is pretty sturdy. Easy to set up, light, and packs well. It is sturdy enough that you can lean on it. That to me is a good sign of a tripod. There are a lot of travel tripods that won't support leaning weight. This is a test I learned from my father. I will probably by a 3rd one in the near future.

The build quality of this tripod is pretty good overall, especially for carbon fiber. The ball head and QR plate are solid. The tripod is super adjustable with some really great features.I love the compact design of it fully folded and it’s nice and light—really great for packing. The one negative for me was the fact it was a bit wobbly fully extended to its full height. I have a Canon 5D Mark III and when I had the center post all the way up and all of the legs fully extended, I found it was a bit wobbly and that’s just with a 40mm pancake lens and flash unit on the camera. The problem for me, as I saw it, were the final sections of the legs, which were also the thinnest sections. They tended to be slightly ’flexy’ with the center post all the way up. That concerns me when I will need to take full-length photos of some of the taller people I’ll need to photograph. At 60†(5 feet), the tripod feels good and stable; it’s that extra 7†extended that changes things. So many things to like about this tripod, but I don’t think I can use it for my regular work projects.

I tried this 60" carbon fiber tripod mainly for two reasons: I had tried and been happy with other K&F Concept products and I wanted a new hiking/backpacking tripod. I was a bit hesitant to start since these are priced competitively compared to other name-brand tripods I've had in the past so I wondered about value. But I have to say that I am totally pleased-even thrilled- with this purchase! The K&F is obviously a very good product; well built with quality material, tight tolerances and attractively designed and finished. From the functioning of the head down to the operation of the legs, it simply works well...VERY well. While I got this to throw on a backpack for the occasional hike and landscape shoot, with the stability and strength of this "little" tripod, I have used it for studio work as well. Even the included bag is well made and just right.K&F Concept is definitely more than ready and able to compete with the better known big boys and-in my book-it will win.I've been doing personal and professional photography for a few decades. K&F Concept is my new go-to brand for the products they offer.

Bought this before an extended trip to Alaska. Tripod remained firm in sub-zero temps, in heavy rain, and in light and medium snow. Exactly what I wanted in a travel tripod. Good product for the money.

I was skeptical at first, but it is a solid piece. It is not as steady as my trusted Manfrotto, but it is 1/5 of the weight, so it is assumed not to be rock-steady. But for what it cost, it is an excellent tool, and I'm happy with it. I use it with My Canon 6D and various lenses, including long telefoto zooms (70-200). I carry it strapped to my backpack while hiking. There is absolutely no creep in the head, it is precise and has a good positive feeling when you lock it.

It’s really strong and able to hold my camera easily. It’s a little slow to set up because it has a bunch of different latches and stuff. It’s also hard to reposition the top once the camera is in place. Needs a little a handle.

Nice price/quality ratio. Used it for a while now and got nothing to complain about.
