I have used the James needles for years. They slide through the fabric better and are just well made. This time I bought some for my quilter friends who couldn't find them as well. I won't use any other brand.

I love the different sizes. You can get on these. Amazon always offers good deals. Instead of going to a STORE. You can stay home. Especially if you’re busy and just order on Amazon . And you get them super quick.

The needles are a Christmas gift so the recipient hasn't used them yet. But, I have used the brand (applique) and they are top-notch. Well-made, durable, easy to use.

I have taught sewing for more than 2 decades. And, have sewn for over 5 decades. I do not understand why there are hand sewing needles that are poorly made. They are not terribly expensive. So, why not buy this brand, which I can trust to be smooth, and the eyes have no burrs or rough areas. I guess people will buy familiar brand names, or the lower priced ones. Come on, just pay a tiny bit more, and you will have a much better product,
