Nice, strong, and sturdy 18†ruler. It’s perfectly straight with no warps, waves, or bends. Corners are pristine and the thickness is perfect. Numbers are easy to read and well aligned. This is the best metal ruler I have ever owned.

I like that this is much thicker than the art store rulers but it doesn't have a backing so it would slide when being used as a cutting edge. I added a strip of mesh drywall tape to counter that.

Pretty good ruler! The aluminum alloy makes it lightweight yet sturdy for most everyday uses. Unless you're working on a project that puts extreme stress on the ruler (which is rare), it performs excellently. The markings are pretty precise, and the build quality feels solid. Overall, a reliable tool for regular tasks but it off by 1/8.it can handle some drops onto the ruler and also fall

The ruler was bought for measuring dough for bread loaves to be sure items to be baked were equal in length. The ruler is sturdy for my needs.
