It has a paper backing and the backing was awful to peel off. I cut a couple strips, and spent 5 minutes on each one trying to get a majority of the paper off. Getting all of it off would be impossible.

Hardly sticks to the vinyl. May work above water but do not get this if you need to seal or repair anything underwater.

Don’t use this tape if it’s going to be exposed to hot sun. It becomes worthless.
