Don't be fooled by the apparent size, these scissors rock. Very sharp can cut metal. I am using them often. The ergonomic design is great for my big hands. Very easy to use!

Two things I lokd about these over Klein snips1. The handle is a little thicker so it’s easier on your palms and ergonomics if you use it a lot . Skin handles guards is as skills as the metal lol2. Second reason is I feel that since it is built better and cause it’s a little thicker it puts way less strain on the screw and the snips itself when your cutting bulkier cable and is built for more tension durability and to last way longer … also it’s almost half the price. have had these snips for years and have always held up and done Me well

Compared to other snips, these make my hands feel so good at the end of the day. I have small hands and they are a perfect fit. They cut really nicely, have ergonomic support where it’s needed, and I can (and have) use these day in and out at work cutting cat 6 cables. I don’t find them to be too thick, despite them being thicker than my coworkers’. While I can’t speak for time tested use yet, it seems to being doing its job wonderfully now.

My company uses Jonard hand tools and supplies us with the plain version of these. I buy these to use and they feel so much better in your hand and seem to cut better. I use these daily and they stay pretty sharp if you don't cut anything big gauge/solid wire. That is what diagonals are for. Anyways I am on my second pair because I didnt follow my own advice and tried to cut something I knew better than to try. I sharpened those back up but never got them back right. I will continue to get these when my current ones get messed up. Lifetime warranty on them so i may try to send a few in to get re-worked if they offer that service.

These scissors are a lower cost from fluke but the serrated blade does not cut like the fluke scissors, I tried to save some money but realize the flukes are higher quality serrated blades to cut and strip wire better and with ease.

After reading the previous reviews of these scissors and weighing my options I decided to give these scissors a try despite some questionable ratings. I’ve had these scissors a several weeks now and I have no complaints. I’ve been in the telecom business for 25 plus years and I’ve tried so many of the brands out there from the new Milwaukee to Klein to Harris/FLUKE. This style/design of scissors is by far my favorite but my Fluke brand ones were shot, I couldn’t keep the blades sharp anymore. Iwas checking prices and comparing models and these Jonard scissors look almost identical to my FLUKE but were a fraction of the cost. I’ve had these almost a month now and they have performed well. They are still sharp and they haven’t loosened up where it required me to tighten them again. So far, so good. If these continue to hold up they will be my go to for as long as I’m in the need for these scissors.

Ive been working in telecom cabling for 25 years , been using this style of sissor for 20 of those years. Fantastic, AFTER you cut the way to thick rubber of the metal , But! When you do , the blades close past where they should, as the rubber is the stop. I personally weld a small blob of flux core wire to the spot the two halfs come together and file down to adjust.... if you dont have a welder , carefully cut around the finger holes leaving the rubber where it needs to be to stop that grom happening.Just my preference, if you have smaller hands , probably wont be an issue ... with the long palm bar , you will easily one cut 25pair cable.Pro recommended.
