Your cart is empty.Remove panel knockouts from electrical panels embedded in drywall without cutting holes in the drywall. For use on electrical, security, alarm and datacom panels. Step by step instructions: 1. After removing the panel cover place the panel buddy on the edge of the panel in front of knockout to be removed. 2. Next insert the modified screwdriver through the hole and between the drywall under the knockout. 3. Push to loosen the knockout. 4. Using the screwdriver, remove panel knockout. DO not use kit near live circuits. Intended for use by licensed professionals.

I had to pop a knockout out in a panel in a tight spot, where I would otherwise cut a low voltage plate in, and and hammer the knockout out. I had a case, where I did not have clearance to do so. I used this on a Hubbell Network Enclosure panel in drywall, which barely had a gap around it. I had to jab a bigger gap, but the panel surround/door covered it right up. The tool worked without a hitch, and was almost easier than hammering the knockout out. I'd highly recommend this tool!

After using the product for the first time, I was absolutely delighted. It made opening the knockout to a panel in a finished wall so easy. Wish I had gotten one years ago.

Great Idea and I made my own......Except I still had to cut the dry wall to put in the clamp for the wire.

Actually works. I was skeptical when I ordered it but it was surprisingly easy to remove knockdown from electrical box.

I am an electrician and was a little skeptical about this product. However I have now used it in the field and it works like a charm. Its a very clever device. Its also sturdy and well made.

I used this tool two to three times a day for two years before I finally broke it. It didn’t always work but that’s because some of those older panels are real thick and barely stamped. Still gave it a good heavy go though. You also might have to patch a little drywall that ends up behind most covers anyways. All my coworkers are jealous of it. And since mine broke I’m buying another.
