I am redoing my family room in a mid century theme and I wanted a retro looking clock. I did a lot of research and many of the clock I found were either too small or too expensive for what I wanted - or they only came in black - I wanted a pop of color. I decided I liked the look of this one the best and ordered it in orange and yellow so I could see both in person. I liked them both but ultimately kept the orange and returned the yellow. I was a little worried about the reviews that complained about the loud ticking. It does tick, but I don't think it's particularly loud. It would bother me in my bedroom if I was trying to sleep, but this is my family room so it won't be an issue.

I really LOVE this clock. It would be 5 stars if it didn't cost so much for a small, plastic construction. This clock is small, which is what I wanted, but be sure to check the dimensions before buying. I love the soft, classic ticking sound and the style is perfect. Would have been five stars if it was about $10 less, lol.

The photo makes it look like a burnt orange, but it’s actually a bright and saturated orange. More like a safety orange. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s something to be aware of. I gave it as a gift, so I haven’t seen it in operation.
