The mouth of our metal cans is covered with a protective film to prevent the gold foil from splashing around during transportation. Please gently tear off the protective film and do not breathe too hard or breathe directly on the metal leaf. You will see the gold foil floating. I bought this to decorate a cake for my mom’s 50th birthday and it worked like a gosh dang charm. I honestly was not expecting the cake to look like it was professionally decorated but the gold made legates it to the MAX.Bakeries wanted to charge me $250 for a cake that I bought from Whole Foods and decorated with gold flakes for about $60. Can’t recommend enough.

This product is great and even comes with some handy little tweezers. Some of it will stick to the sides of the container though. Feels a little like a waste but I’m not sure what kind of packaging would avoid this issue

Wonderful they Worked exactly as I wanted for my St Patrick's day items. Just work carefully and slowly. Macarons and other pastries were beautiful

I thought this was going to be easier to use, but it was as if there was static cling making everything stuck together. But after a lot of patience, the final product was nice.

All of the flakes are stuck and when you try to remove them they just break into unusably small pieces. Just buy sheets instead
