The water pressure was getting very low in our RV and I never would have thought it was our city water inlet. The check valve had become dismantled somehow allowing it to become cockeyed and impede water flow. This would cause the water to go down to a trickle. After replacing our old inlet with this product the pressure is better than ever.This has three holes for mounting, one more than my original had.The plastic part appears to be made well.As you can see by the picture the threads are male. Keep in mind that you also may need to buy a extension piece if your wall is too thick and your present city inlet is female threaded, like ours was. Being that our old inlet was female threaded I had to run to the hardware store and grab a 1/2' female to male coupler piece. If it hadn't been for that the job would have taken 10 minutes. Take a peek before you get started so you'll know what you need.

I replaced this on my old 1995 coachmen CO210 pop up. Install was easy as the hole patterns lined up. I have only used it for a few months but I've had zero issues.

Exact fit for incoming water lines from hose. Might need a down converter or up converter depending on your size water lines in your rv. Those adapters can be found almost anywhere

The brass coupler / valve seems of good quality. The valve is a cheesy affair but will probably work just fine. Preferential to the steel flanged one below.The JR Products 9690-200-023 is similar to what my rig has so it was ordered first. It has a metal flange but it turns out that the valve and coupler are all plastic. It is being returned to Amazon.This polar white one is the better of the two in my opinion. I had to drill three holes and buy some no 10 flat head stainless screws at the hardware store for .17 each.Ideally the chrome plated flange with the brass components would be the real top ticket but everybody wants to cheapen everything!

Replaced the original plastic valve that was leaking all the water out of the tanks with this brass Bad Boy. Was surprisingly easy to replace - just a couple of minutes. Works great so far! Why the original manufacturer felt they needed to save a buck or two and put in a lousy plastic one is beyond me.

After just a couple of years, my cheap plastic city connection started leaking. I tried tightening the connection but it simply split and cracked the stem. I ordered this brass version which was an exact fit to the old mounting holes. I mated a brass connector from the water line to the brass stem in this part and cranked down tight. Great seal, no leaks, not fragile like the old one.. very pleased!

The city water inlet on my 2012 North Trail just wore out, leaked terribly. I bought this as a replacement. However it turns out this is an UPGRADE. the piec I removed was all plastic, both inside threads and hose threads. This unit is brass, both inside and in the water hose fitting. Just installed today but I feel very good about the quality improvement.

Great fit. Used it to replace my black water connection cause it's black of course!!! Looks great and will be very hard to get it confused glancing at it with the white fresh water thats right beside it. For those who also want to know... yes this is labelled B&B too.

38 ft fifth wheel with inlet near front of trailer. I wanted to add another inlet point at the other end of my trailer, this was a good fit and looks like it should be there.
